Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 18, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Authority Verification Engine website, workspace, and related services operated by Axis Infrastructure LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By using the service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. What the Service Does

Authority Verification Engine provides documentation verification workflows. The current public PMD workflow is designed to review documentation against Medicare LCD L33789 and related PMD submission requirements before claim submission.

The service may include public preview features, synthetic sample cases, authenticated workspaces, generated reports, and downloadable readiness artifacts. Some features may be limited, changed, or discontinued over time.

2. Public Demo and Synthetic Sample Use

The public PMD try page is a synthetic sample experience intended to show how the workflow operates.

  • The public demo uses synthetic sample data and is not a live patient workflow.
  • Do not upload, paste, or submit patient-identifiable information through the public demo.
  • We may limit, suspend, or block public-demo access to prevent abuse.

3. No Medical, Billing, or Legal Advice

The service is a documentation review and verification tool only.

  • It does not provide medical advice, clinical judgment, legal advice, or payer advice.
  • It does not issue coverage determinations or guarantee claim payment.
  • It does not guarantee claim approval, ADR avoidance, denial reduction, or audit outcomes.
  • It does not replace the judgment of suppliers, consultants, billers, clinicians, or compliance staff.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for how you use the service and any decisions made from its output.

  • Review all findings independently before acting on them.
  • Use the service only for content you have the right to submit.
  • Comply with applicable privacy, healthcare, billing, documentation, and professional rules.
  • Use the public demo only with synthetic or otherwise appropriate non-patient data.

5. Accounts, Paid Access, and Pilot Use

Some features require an account, pilot enrollment, or paid access. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for activity that occurs under your account.

If you purchase or participate in a pilot, additional commercial terms may apply to that relationship. We may change features, pricing, limits, or packaging with notice where required.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for unlawful purposes or in violation of applicable law.
  • Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
  • Upload malicious files or content.
  • Misrepresent the output as a guarantee, certification, or official payer determination.
  • Use automated scraping or bulk extraction against the public site except through authorized interfaces.

7. Data Handling

Our data handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy. By using the service, you acknowledge that processing may involve third-party infrastructure and API providers needed to operate the workflow.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain rights to the content you submit, subject to the rights needed for us to operate the service. We retain rights to the software, workflow design, branding, and other parts of the service not owned by you.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT IT WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR SPECIFIC USE CASE. AUTOMATED FINDINGS MAY CONTAIN ERRORS, OMISSIONS, OR MISCLASSIFICATIONS.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, AXIS INFRASTRUCTURE LLC AND ITS AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE RELEVANT SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Axis Infrastructure LLC and its affiliates from claims, losses, and expenses arising out of your misuse of the service, your submitted content, or your violation of these Terms.

12. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the service at any time if necessary to protect the service, comply with law, prevent abuse, or address violations of these Terms.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law rules.

Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service will be resolved by binding arbitration in Cook County, Illinois, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for misuse of intellectual property or unauthorized access to the service.

You and Axis Infrastructure LLC waive any right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in any class or representative action to the extent permitted by law.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Your continued use of the service after the update takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.
